    1. The Platform

ALIMPIA PLATFORM S.L. operates a technological intermediary platform connecting clients with independent professionals. ALIMPIA is NOT the employer of providers, does NOT directly provide services and does NOT direct their work. Providers are independent self-employed responsible for their own activity.

    2. Acceptance and Registration

By registering, you accept these Terms in full. You must be over 18, provide truthful information and keep a single account. Providers must be registered self-employed or a company with a valid tax ID and are verified via KYC.

    3. Payments, Escrow and Commission

Payments are processed by Mollie B.V. (PSD2 regulated). Funds are held in escrow until the client confirms completion or 48 hours pass without dispute. ALIMPIA applies a 15% commission on the service value (promotional plans may reduce it). Applicable VAT is included per Spanish regulations.

    4. Dispute Resolution

Either party may open a dispute within 48 hours of service completion. Both parties have 24 hours to submit evidence (photos, messages). ALIMPIA acts as a neutral mediator and resolves within 5 business days. Resolution may be: release to provider, refund to client or proportional split. The decision is binding.

    5. Prohibited Uses

Prohibited: off-platform contact to evade commission (permanent ban), fake reviews, identity impersonation, illegal services, sharing contact data before order confirmation, fake bids, offensive or discriminatory content, and any use that violates third-party rights or current law.

    6. Liability and Governing Law

ALIMPIA is not liable for the quality or damages arising from services provided by independent professionals. These Terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute shall be submitted to the Courts of Alicante, unless consumer law requires another jurisdiction.

6.1. Property Damage During the Service

Any damage to the client's property during the service (e.g. broken items, stains, scratches on furniture or surfaces) is the direct responsibility of the professional performing the service, not ALIMPIA. Each professional's profile indicates whether they hold verified liability insurance; where they do not, the client may freely choose another professional who does, or proceed knowing no such coverage exists. Clients are advised to remove or protect fragile or high-value items before the service begins.

    7. Professional Autonomy

Professionals freely set the price of their services and independently decide which requests to accept or decline, without penalty, reduced visibility, or restricted platform access. ALIMPIA does not impose schedules, shifts, or exclusivity, and does not direct the manner, time, or place of service execution. Professionals are responsible for complying with their tax and Social Security obligations under their applicable legal status (RETA or other valid regime).

    8. Recurring Engagement and Employment Relationship

The client acknowledges that repeated and ongoing engagement of the same professional for household tasks may fall under the regulations of the Special System for Household Employees (Sistema Especial para Empleados de Hogar), and it is the client's sole responsibility to assess this circumstance and register accordingly with Social Security if applicable. ALIMPIA may display automatic informational notices in response to recurring engagement patterns; this does not constitute legal advice and does not replace the client's obligation to inform themselves appropriately.
